Statesman reminder for next week:

[Elisa] We finished the story we started last week. We talked about the alternating “rotations” of the universe or cosmos and their characteristics. In the beginning, everything was peaceful and immortal under a group of caring gods. Later, the “divine helmsman” leaves and the rotation changes its course according to the orders of his prior instructions. However, this rotation eventually brings negative results without the divine hand guiding it, and thus the helmsman returns to undo the changes during his absence. It is unclear (to us) how things proceed after the helmsman returns, but in the process birth and reproduction starts happening (at some point, when, is not agreed). Then we return to the divisions that we left earlier, creating a distinction a between rearing and caring, forced and voluntary, as well as divine and mortal rule.
